I am waiting for only good films.” Arasangam in Hindi Madhesh, director of Arasangam, has announced that the film would be remade in Hindi with Ajay Devgan in the lead. The director says, “Arasangam is receiving an overwhelming response. Many told me it was a different attempt with an actor like Vijayakanth, who is known for his action and dialogues that pack a punch. I simply tried to project a different Vijayakanth, who does not talk or kick much. In this film, it is his intellect that’s at work throughout. As expected, the film has clicked with the audience.”

About its remake in Hindi, he says, “I showed the film to Hindi stars Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan. All of them appreciated it and Ajay Devgan came forward to do the Hindi version.”
